At the Diocesan Convention Eucharist, we collected $1,334, which will be split into equal gifts to Episcopal Relief and Development and the Great Plains Food Bank. Episcopal Relief & Development works in collaboration with church partners and other local organizations to facilitate healthier, more fulfilling lives in communities that are struggling with hunger, poverty, disaster and disease around the world and here in the US, impacting the lives of over 3 million people annually. The Great Plains Food Bank recovers food that otherwise would go to waste from a range of food industry partners and through its programs and services distributes it to those in need throughout North Dakota and Clay County, Minnesota.
