At A Breaking Point: A Youth Perspective on Crisis and Hope at COP26

by Solveigh Barney, of St. George’s, Bismarck, a member of the Episcopal Church delegation to United Nations COP26 conference

Two of the world’s most revered spiritual leaders are uniting one last time to share spiritual wisdom and cutting edge neuroscience that show us exactly how we can each access more joy, no matter our circumstances.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu share their wisdom (and humor) through a laugh-out-loud funny documentary film called Mission: JOY, Finding Happiness in Troubled Times, that is inspired by their international bestseller, The Book of Joy. The film production team includes multiple Academy Award winners and Emmy winners, and is predicted, like the book, to be “the antidote to the times” (Boston Globe).  It premiered at Tribeca, and has been featured in 34 film festivals and counting.

Watch the trailer (RT 2:45) here.

The film is offered FREE OF CHARGE to faith communities and other groups in order to help further the Archbishop’s and His Holiness’s goal of making the film and its messages available to as many people around the world as possible, without regard to ability to pay.
