Unconditional

We believe that God loves us all unconditionally. No matter what you do, you cannot earn more love and no matter what you do, you cannot lose it. We as followers of Christ are charged with loving one another the same way. Whether you are searching, questioning or firm in your faith. Whether you are looking for a way to pray, a way to serve or a way to grow you belong. Young or not-so-young, Indigenous, Sudanese, Hispanic, or white, straight or LGBTQIA2S+, married, partnered, single, with or without kids, left, right or center, city or country, Coke or Pepsi … whoever you are, wherever you are on your faith journey, in the Episcopal Church, you are one of us.

Unconventional

When you’ve been to one Episcopal Church in North Dakota, you’ve been to exactly one. What you find in Cartwright is very different from All Saints in Minot or St John the Divine. Each congregation reflects its community, in where they gather, how they support each other and how they serve their community.  AND wherever you go, the welcome will be warm and the liturgy familiar. It is the same Holy Bible and the same Book of Common Prayer in every place, and in each place, a reflection of the unique faith of that community.

Unfinished

We are a work in progress. Until Jesus returns, we are at work on ourselves, on our churches and our communities. Feed, clothe, house, help, heal and offer hope to our friends and neighbors, that is our work. Come and see what the Episcopal Church in North Dakota is doing not on our own but with the help of God who works through us … and join us in the work.
